Backgrounds What is today’s Query? –Words –Image or drawing? –More? Are they effectively? Are they efficiently?

Possible Improvement More effective query –Longer and more accurate text or paragraph. –Very similar to target image. –Combine all these together. More efficient query –Type the words faster? –Practice drawing everyday?

Neuroscience A field of study which deal with nervous system, brain, behavior, and learning. Provide us possible way to achieve effective and efficient query.

Query by Thinking Extracting features from our brain. What can we extract as query? –Text –Image –Audio –Video –Story? E.g. Something related to the memory –More? E.g. Other encodings

Research Direction How and what to extract from human brain. How to index existing web for the new features from brain. How to utilize the all information from human brain to boost search result. Query our own or others memory? Brain web? The memory and experience distributed in people’s brains.
