It’s responsible for thinking, dreaming, holding memories 2 separate systems: 1.Central Nervous System (CNS) 2. Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) CNS: includes the brain and the spinal cord PNS: everything else (nerves)

6 Other facts about Nervous System The most important part of the body is the nervous system, more specific, the brain. The nervous system is responsible for everything we do. Neurons are the most basic part of the nervous system. A neuron is a nerve cell. They are the only sells in the body that can send messages from part of the body to another part. The brain is enclosed in five layers of protection The outermost layer is the skull, followed by meanings.
