Early Life  Reagan was born on October 8, 1818 in Sevier County, Tennessee.  Siblings, Edwina Moss Nelms Reagan.  Parents Were Timothy Richard and Elizabeth{Lusk} Reagan.  He left Tennessee At the age of 19 and traveled to Texas and became a surveyor from 1839 to 1843 then farmed in Kaufma County til 1851.

4. Early Life (continued)  In the time when he was surveyor he was also a private tutor to the children of John Marie Durst.  He was a Politician, Lawyer, Surveyor, and a Senator.  He studied Law on his own and licensed to practice in 1846. Opening an office in Buffalo.

During the Civil War  President Jefferson Davis choose Reagan to lead the new Confederate States of America-Post Office Department.  On May 9 near Abbeville, Georgia, Jefferson Davis, former governor of Texas, Francis R. Lubbock and Reagan were captured.  The Confederate States lost and Reagan, Lubbock, and Jefferson were sent to Fort Warren.

7. After the Civil War  Reagan continued to be a politician after the Civil War.  On March 6, 1905 Reagan died of pneumonia. He was buried in Palestine.
