Clubs Cricket Opportunity Coaches from Poloc Cricket Club will be coming in on Monday 28 th of April after school to deliver a coaching session. The session will run from 3:00 until 4:15 If it is successful then they will run a weekly club. If you would like to attend, collect a form from Mr. Richardson in PE.

S5/6 Lockers All S5/6 pupils with lockers should return their keys THIS WEEK. £5 deposits will be returned in exchanged for your key being returned. Mrs Johnston will be available in her office at interval time. If you are interested in the Alton Towers Senior Pupil Merit Trip, you must pay £25 to Miss Dickman before you leave for Study Leave on Friday. You must be on the merit list to be considered for the trip. If numbers exceed the amount of places we have, names will be drawn from a hat and a reserve list will be created. Hoodies! The assembly tomorrow will be slightly extended to allow the Captaincy Team and Mrs Johnston time to hand out your Leavers Hoodies. Prom Full payment for Prom must be made by Friday of this week. We will be in Mrs Johnston’s office every lunchtime from 1.00pm.

S5/6 Opportunities 1.Financial Support for Future Engineers – The Institution of Mechanical Engineers are offering a scholarships of up to £20,000 if you are studying at an IMechE accredited course at University. 2.Symposium on “So You Want to Be a Doctor?” – The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow are running this annual event in June. If you are considering a career in Medicine this is very worthwhile! There are only 6 spaces 3.Determined to Care - This a great opportunity if you wish to pursue a career in the care industry. You will receive expert training, live work experience and an opportunity to progress on to a positive destination – ideal for Winter Leavers. 4.Finance Sector Bursaries – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland are offering bursary that will “make a significant difference to academically talented young people from disadvantaged communities by helping them take their first steps into a professional career in accountancy, finance or management.” Come and see Miss McWaters for more information

S1 Swimming – PE Mr Sim’s S1 boys class will be swimming every Thursday period 3 and 4. We will meet at the PE doors at 10.45am and we will be walking down to Bellahouston Sports Centre. You must bring 1.swimming shorts 2.a towel 3.£1 for the locker (you will get this back).
