WWII review Holocaust – Jews and other groups targeted by Hitler to create a master German race; 11 million killed Internment camps – Japanese put in US camps fearing they were spies after Pearl Harbor Minority groups – women, African Americans, Mexicans, Japanese, Native Americans Dictators took land to start WWII Southwest was affected by the war with Bracero program and the internment camps.
