Formal Evaluation Mechanics Details Observe and Rate Pregame Activities Note all penalties for crew review Note plays of interest Focus on Individual official for 2-3 series Adjust focus for Special Situations – Kicking game, Goal Line, Penalties Take wide view for overall Crew comments

Formal Evaluation Mechanics Details Be in the locker room for Half Time – Observe but don’t participate Second half – Double check ratings and behaviors – Look for any adjustments discussed at Half – Develop the post game comments Be in the locker room for Postgame – In most cases the Crew Chief goes first – In most cases ONE Evaluator will present the comments – Per Official & Crew Provide one item for immediate improvement – Per Official & Crew Provide at least one positive observation – Keep it short
