2  Most Jews hid in attics, cellars or barns.  Most families couldn’t all hide in one place.

3  Some children could live with another family.  Orphanages and churches would take in the children.

4  Hiding places within areas where only Jews could live.  Many were quickly discovered.

5  Most only hid Jews they knew before the war.  Some only hid them for money.

6  Most could only get food and news at night.  Some could not speak for several days and could only get news when it was urgent.
