6. The Dative O Used to indicate indirect objects in a sentence. O Indirect objects answer the question to or for whom is the action being done. O Also used following certain prepositions. O aus, außer, bei, mit, nach, seit, von zu O Also follows certain verbs. O helfen, gefallen, folgen, gehören, Leid tun, passieren O Articles in all genders change their appearance in this case.
