FORGIVENESS I. COMPLETE FORGIVENESS AVAILABLE A. Jesus’ Authority (Mt. 9:1-8; 28:18). B. Jesus’ Desire (Lk. 19:10; Jn. 3:16; Eph. 5:23-28). C. Initial Forgiveness Is Conditional (Acts 2:21, 38; 22:16)!

FORGIVENESS II. ALL GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS CONDITIONAL! A. Repentance (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:22; Lk 17:3). B. Free Confession (1 Jn 1:9; Mt. 5:23-26; Jas. 5:16). C. Forsake Sin (Pr. 28:13; Is. 55:1-13; 1 Pet. 1:13-19; 2 Tim. 2:19-21).

FORGIVENESS III. CHALLENGES TO FORGIVENESS B. Being Willing To Forgive / From The Heart (Lk. 17:4; Mt. 6:14-15; 18:21-35). C. Forgiving As God Forgives – Conditionally (Eph. 4:31-32; Col. 3:13; 2 Th. 3:6-14; 1 Tim. 5:4, 8). D. Comforting The Repentant (2 Cor. 2:6-11; Col. 3:12-15). A. Rebuking The Erring (Lk. 17:3; Lev. 19:17).

FORGIVENESS CONCLUSION: 2. This forgiveness is conditional! 3. We MUST be forgiving AS God is forgiving! “For judgment is without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment.” (James 2:13) 1. Jesus offers COMPLETE forgiveness! BE MERCIFUL
