2. MAJOR ITEMS October – December  Megan Shober and I participated in teleconference calls with the NRC regarding a “Public NMED”. Decision was made not to pursue this option.  Meetings with NRC and NEI regarding the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Energy and Water Development Subcommittee’s legislation (included security requirements). December  Sherrie Flaherty represented OAS at the CRCPD meetings with the NRC February  Initial teleconference call with NRC Office of Inspector General (OIG) regarding medical use of radioactive material

3. MAJOR ITEMS (cont) March  Sherrie participated in an initial Teleconference call with GAO regarding transportation of radioactive material (GAO will be visiting licensees in Agreement States) April  Annual OAS Board meeting  Annual NRC Commission Briefing  Represented OAS at the Nuclear Government Coordinating Council (NGCC) meeting May  Teleconference call with NRC OIG on medical use. Draft report is expected to be completed by August 31 st.
