Abstract 1  It should a brief summary of approximately 300 words  It should include  the research question,  the rational for the study,  the hypothesis,  the method,  and the main findings

Abstract 2  Descriptions of the method may include  the design,  procedures,  the sample  any instruments that will be used

Methods 3  The methods section is very important  It tells your research committee how you plan to tackle your research problem  It will provide your work plan and describe the activities necessary for the completion of your project

Methods 4  It should contain sufficient information for the reader to determine whether methodology is sound  It may contain sufficient details for another qualified researcher to implement the study  Demonstrate your knowledge of alternative methods

Methods 5  Make the case that your approach is the most appropriate and most valid way to address your research question  Your research question may be best answered by qualitative research  How to write the method section for qualitative research is a topic for another paper

Methods Procedures 6  Design-is it questionnaire study or laboratory experiment?  Subjects or participants-  Who will take part in your study?  What kind of sampling procedure do you use?  Instruments-  What kind of measuring instruments or questionnaires do you use?  Why do you use them?  Are they valid and reliable?

Methods Procedures 7  Procedure-  How do you plan to carry out your study?  What activities are involved?  How long does it take?  Description-How you will collect and analyze data?

Title 8  Title should be to the point and descriptive  The phrase," An investigation of …” could be omitted  It is stated in terms of a functional relationship  It should indicate the independent and dependent variables

Title 9  Title may be an informative but catchy  An effective title pricks the reader’s interest  An effective title influences him/her positively towards the proposal

 Passive Localization: Large Size Sensor Network Localization Based on Environmental  A Wireless Sensor Network for Real-time Indoor Localisation and Motion Monitoring  An Energy-efficient Multi-channel MAC Protocol for Dense Wireless Sensor Networks  On the network coding advantage for wireless multicast in Euclidean space  A Practical Multi-Channel Medium Access Control Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

 Effects of Correlated Shadowing: Connectivity, Localization, and RF Tomography  Sensor Selection For Minimizing Worst-case Prediction Error  Towards Real-Time Information Processing of Sensor Network Data using Computationally Efficient Multi-output Gaussian Processes  Distributed Online Simultaneous Fault Detection for Multiple Sensors
