realistic, such as talking animals or magical powers.

Descriptive A type of writing that describes a person, place, thing, or idea. Use words to help your reader see, hear, smell, taste, and feel what you are talking about.

A type of writing that gives the writer’s opinion on a topic
Persuasive Writing A type of writing that gives the writer’s opinion on a topic and tries to get the reader to agree with it. This writing gives facts to support the opinion.
