2. Objectives  Students will be able to identify main and supporting ideas with the usage of a whiteboard.  Students will build reading comprehension and vocabulary skills

6. Procedures  Teacher will select two stories at the classroom reading level from the scholastic online  Teacher will allow story to be displayed on the whiteboard and ask the students to read out load.  Teacher will use functions on the whiteboard to highlight main and supporting ideas and key vocabulary.

7. Assessment  Teacher will allow students to do a 6 minute free writing in their student writing journals on giving their own fictional accounts on what happens next in the story.

8. Scholastic online  This online learning tool gives teachers and parents activities and lessons to work with a whiteboard, to work independently in a collaborative group, and in a whole class group activity.
