WHAT ARE BENCHMARKS? BENCHMARKS ARE CONDITIONS THAT MUST BE SATISFIED BEFORE THE GAS SWITCH FROM THE DEFAULT BLEND TO THE DECO BLEND WILL OCCUR. THE “Dec b” BENCHMARK IS THE BOTTOM TIME OF THE DIVE AFTER WHICH THE GAS SWITCHING WILL BE ENABLED. ONCE THE PROGRAMMED TIME HAS BEEN SATISFIED, THE GAS SWITCH WILL BE CONTROLLED BY DEPTH THE “Dec d” BENCHMARK IS THE DEPTH OF THE GAS SWITCH. ONCE THE DIVER ASCENDS ABOVE THE PROGRAMMED DEPTH, THE GAS SWITCH FROM THE DEFAULT BLEND TO THE DECO BLEND WILL OCCUR. IF BENCHMARK “Dec b” IS NOT SATISFIED THERE WILL NOT BE A GAS SWITCH.
