6. The dual studies combine theoretical studies at a university and practical experience at a company or social institution in a unique way. Dual Studies M CS U DS C Students who choose dual studies switch between the university and their training institution every three months. The theory and practice contents are closely coordinated and incorporate current developments. In this way, the students already gain professional experience and the social skills required in every-day working life during their studies. There are carefully selected training institutions, the dual partners of Cooperative State University, are responsible for selecting their students and employ them for the duration of their studies. ____________________________________________________ 6

The excellent training and the appreciation of the training companies and social institutions also shows in the fact that such a large percentage of graduates is taken on by their training company: about 80 percent receive a contract after graduation.
