15. א Alef – G-d It takes three pin marks to make an Alef. Without all three strokes of the pin it would not be an Alef. If you remove any of the primary expressions of G-d he would no longer be G-d. Like G-d, Alef does not make any sound. The attached vowel is free to express itself without much influence.

16. ל Lamed - study Lamed sounds like L It will carry you from the earth line to the highest heavens. It pictures our emotions.

17. מ Mem – water or kingdom Mem sounds like M The bottom is a strait line. The lower right corner is square. There is a break at the lower left corner. It pictures our intellect. The first letter of מח Mach - brain
