Task #1 Identify FOUR Close Reading Signposts… Reference the textual evidence. Explain the significance. Answer the potential question.

Task #2 Create a written CHARACTER SKETCH. Determine FIVE descriptive words for your character. Use textual evidence to support each inferred description.

Task #3 Noting the unique plot structure, determine the two CLIMACTIC EVENTS that occur in the story, explaining why each is a turning point. Next, determine the two CONFLICTS the narrator experiences, providing evidence as to whether or not each conflict was resolved.
