2 SBIRT Linked Milestone What is the purpose of using the SBIRT Milestone?  Includes competency levels ( knowledge, skills, attitudes, and performance ) to be achieved by the Fellows during Year 1 of their Addiction Medicine Fellowship. Guides the curriculum development of the Fellowship Program; Guides the assessment strategies used by the Program Provide the Fellows with benchmarks for self-directed study ;

4 SBIRT Linked Milestone Why do we need to fill out the Milestones Quarterly? The Milestone Documents and Collects information on: o The progression of the Fellows competency levels from Baseline to completion of Year 1; o Total number of Physicians the Fellows train during Year 1; o Types of Curriculum Activities each Program developed and utilized with the Fellows; and o Efforts and accomplishments of the Fellowship Programs and their Fellows.
