6. + Some comments: About my village The GoodThe Bad nice setting and good neighbourswe have lost our Post office and local shop lovely villagebus service is poor nice quiet villagelack of direct public transport to hospital, Mewcstle and Blyth great village and neighboursno facilities- no shops- inadequate buses quality villagetransport is poor, shops poor, facilities for adults poor, the hut in Holywell is small. love the village, speed of traffic is awful, at double bend and over bridge location, roads and footpaths well maintained despite paying same council tax as other areas we are forgotten with regard to services and amenities feel safeno parking, dog fouling on all pavements, trees too tall block out sunlight from house lovely village but could have more social life and shops for young and old wonderful place but has some problems

8. + Some comments about problems Common commentsRarer comments lack of bus shelters. poor pavementspeople from outside the area move in and have no respect local shops.Cars parking opposite my drive. grass cutting removes daffodils bad public transport. few community activities and poor promotion of current activities. traffic increasing - a crossing island may help parking on grass verges- car repairs outside homes. caravans parking on drives poor signposting to local attractions eg Holywell pond. Extra car parking at east grange needed for visitors. speeding- no policing. no shops or dentist or pharmacy. car parking a problem in areas roads are in a state of disrepair due to bad repair processes. Inadequate clearing of ice and snow on estate roads. park in Holywell near school needs to be improved with safer equipment pavements are disgusting all broken and uneven mainly parking problem particularly on school run times not enough to keep teenagers occupied during after school
