3. Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California, on February 24, 1955. Adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs and grew up in Silicon Valley. In 1985, Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO to begin a new hardware and software company called NeXT, Inc (hardware division)

7. In 1996 Apple bought NeXT for $429 million. Jobs returned to Apple as an adviser where he was then made chief executive in 1997. Job’s ingenious products such as the iMac, effective branding campaigns, and stylish designs caught the attention of consumers once again. In 2001, Apple’s first iPod was launched. Apple's revolutionary products,-iPod, iPhone and iPad, are now seen as dictating the evolution of modern technology.
