3. Introduction I chose this field because I relate to technology. I think the iPhone represents much more than just a phone. iPhone represents a breakthrough in the global perception about mobile phones.

4. History Development of the iPhone began with Apple CEO Steve Jobs' direction that Apple engineers investigate touch screens. The iPhone was marketed as the most sophisticated "smart phone". Apple sold 270,000 iPhones in the first 30 hours of its U.S. debut.

5. Software The iPhone (and iPod Touch) run an operating system known as iOS. iPhone Operating system (iOS) uses less than half a gigabyte of memory.
