Body Breathe Work: In this part of the kit I have included a stuffed frog and a yoga mat. This is to provide the children with a chance to take time out and breathe. I will use it when children are stressed, frustrated, or just need time alone. I will have the stuffed frog and yoga mat in a corner where the children can go by themselves to relax and breathe.

Senses The Exploring Basket: In this basket I provided lots of materials for the children to explore their senses with. It includes stuffed animals, a guitar, a drum, a mirror, candles, baby powder, a kaleidoscope, and squishy balls. This will give the children a chance to reduce anxiety by playing with the sensory materials. I will use this when children are first entering a classroom and are anxious or when beginning a new activity or anything new that makes them anxious.

Quieter Connections Bubbles: In this part of the kit I have included bubbles. This will give children a chance to connect and establish good relationships. I will use this when it seems that a relationship with a child is not as good as it can be or it is the start of a relationship. I included this because it can be very beneficial to build positive relationships.
5
Feelings Feelings Bingo: In this part of the kit I included the feelings bingo card. I included this because it will help the children get in touch with their feelings and understand that it is okay to feel all emotions. I will use this to give the children a chance to share stories about different feelings they have had and to get in touch with their inner self.

Identity Me Puzzles: In this part of the kit I included a blank puzzle. I included this so the children can get to know their complete self and not just part of them. I will use this as a follow up to the activity “All Parts of Me.” It will get the children to see that they are more complex than being just good and bad.

Coping Skills Take Out the Trash: In this part of the kit I included a garbage can and pieces of paper with different messages on them. Some messages are positive and some are negative. I included this so children can learn the difference between positive and negative messages. I will use this after a relationship of trust is established and it is time to focus the adjustment of self-talk.

Ceremony and Rituals Wishing Wands: In this part of the kit I included a wand and materials to make a wand. I included this so children can have hope and see what is needed to change. I will use this mainly for children that are into fantasy or children that are having conflicts. I will use it when children want to imagine something better.
