How Important Is Early Season Weed Competition? u About 33 to 66% of the time we can initiate weed control at the 3 to 4 leaf stage of cotton. u If in doubt, apply DNA + Cotoran or Staple u The other 33 to 66% of the time we need a soil- applied herbicide or 2 overtop RU applications.
