Quotation Marks

Are punctuation marks that separate certain parts of a writing. All other punctuation marks (ex. commas, periods, question marks) go INSIDE of the quotation marks.

Times When Quotation Marks are used: Quoting: –“Now get out your pencils,” said Miss Nitz. Using irony: –My sister said she was too “busy,” but she was only watching TV. Naming a short fiction, poetry, chapter of a book, articles in magazines and journals, album tracks, and singles: –“How to make School Fun.” Kids
