Alleluia Alleluia Christ is with us He is with us indeed Alleluia And so we gather. In the name of the Father… Mrs. Dodd

Walk with me, oh my Lord Through the darkest night And brightest day. Be at my side, oh Lord, Hold my hand and guide me On my way. 1. Sometimes the road seems long, My energy is spent. Then, Lord, I think of you And I am given strength 2. Stones often bar my path, And there are times I fall, But you are always there To help me when I call. 3. Just as you calmed the wind And walked upon the sea Conquer, my living Lord The storms that threaten me. 4. Help me to pierce the mists That cloud my heart and mind, So that I shall not fear The steepest mountain-side. 5. As once you healed the lame And gave sight to the blind Help me when I'm downcast To hold my head up high.

A Reading from the Gospel according to St.John Glory to you, Oh Lord The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ
9
I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today? How does it make you feel to know that God loves us all so much that He was willing to send Jesus to be with us on earth? Can you think of the people who love you and the people that you love? What does it mean to love someone? How do you treat someone that you love? Mrs. Dooley
10
God does not just love you or me or your family and friends, God loves everybody. God loves all people whether they are rich or poor, no matter where they live or where they come from. We are all part of God’s global family. Mr. Pepper
11
God asks us to share this love and to also care for others no matter who they are or where in the world they live. God calls us to care for our brothers and sisters around the world and to share generously with them all that we have been given. When we do this we are sharing God’s love. Mrs. Dodd
12
For our response today we would like you to close your eyes and think about how you could show God’s love in our school family, your family at home and our Global family Mrs. Dodd
13
We remember our brothers and sisters throughout the world as we pray together: Lord hear our prayer. The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the Church throughout the world: that it may be a place of welcome and love for all people no matter who they are or where they come from. Lord hear our prayer. Lord in your mercy: Lord hear our prayer. We pray for all people who are finding life difficult because of poverty or illness: that they may find comfort in the love and support of others and hope for a better future. Lord hear our prayer. Lord, in your mercy: Lord hear our prayer. We pray for our parish, family and friends: that through our actions we may share God’s love with others around the world. Lord hear our prayer. Lord, in your mercy: Lord hear our prayer. Mrs.Dooley

1.Longing for light, we wait in darkness. Longing for truth, we turn to you. Make us your own, your holy people, Light of the world to see. 2. Longing for peace, our world is troubled. Longing for hope, many despair. Your word alone has pow’r to save us. Make us your living voice. 3. Longing for food, many are hungry, Longing for water, many still thirst. Make us your bread, broken for others, shared until all are fed. 4. Longing for shelter, many are homeless, Longing for warmth, many are cold. Make us your building, sheltering others, walls made of living stones. 5. Many the gifts, many the people, many the hearts that yearn to belong. Let us be servants to one another, making your kingdom come. Christ, be our light! Shine in our hearts. Shine through the darkness. Christ, be our light! Shine in your Church gathered today.
