2. 2 What is C3E? The international initiative was launched at the first Clean Energy Ministerial in 2010 with the goal of advancing women in clean energy. Current partner governments include:  Australia  Japan  Mexico  Norway  South Africa  United Arab Emirates  United Kingdom  United States South African Energy Minister Dipuo Peters with US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz at the 2012 C3E Symposium

3. 3 What is C3E? Continued U.S. C3E program has four pillars:  C3E Ambassadors – Role models and spokespeople  C3E Awards – Recognizing mid-career rising stars  C3E annual Symposium – Face-to-Face Networking & more  C3ENet.org – Social Network for Women in Clean Energy

4. 4 Why did I get involved with C3E? Share your professional background  I’ve been working in clean energy for five years… Share your C3E story  I attended the Symposium, and was inspired!  I’m an award winner  I wanted a way to meet other likeminded women in the clean energy space
