Answers John said that he didn´t like parties. Sue said that her English was getting better. They said that that had been their last trip. Jim said that his cousing had grown up in France. Jane said that her brother might come back early. Bill said that he would be home by midnight. Jim and Sue told me that they could help me.

Why weren´t you at school?.’ The teacher asked Jack why he hadn´t been at school. ‘Were you late for the meeting?.’ He asked me if I had been late for the meeting. ‘What´s your name?“ I asked the girl. I wanted to know what her (the girl´s) name was.
