SCHOOL FOOD In most of the Turkish schools, there aren’t any dining halls. There should be fresh food at school cafeterias. There should be cheaper and healthier food.

Drink water, vegetable juice, milk and tea. Drink about 2 liters of water every day. Avoid fizzy drinks, alcohol, coffee, etc.

WHAT CAN TURKEY DO? Lower the price of healthy food. Increase the taxes on alcohol, sugary food and junk food. Support companies which sell healthy food. Snacks shouldn’t be placed near the checkout counters.

WHAT CAN TURKEY DO? The government should increase the number of social clubs and courses in public education centers. Extracurricular activities should be designed for students in order to encourage them to spend quality time with their friends, parents, etc.

RESTITUTION AT SCHOOL We recommend... lessons should start at 9.15 a.m school cafeterias shouldn’t have fast food each activity club should have their own separate rooms.

Show commercials and documentaries about healthy lifestyle and healthy food on TV Build sports areas and gyms in poor countries Organize youth clubs and do activities in local schools Encourage more schools to participate in the international projects Allocate more money to international mobilities
