Italy www.ideal-ist.net Step 1 The user wishes to insert a new partner search on www.ideal-ist.net e-mail Italian user registers to mailing list & selects areas of interest Step 2 After the user has inserted and saved the form, the server sends an email to the Italian rep. with a link to the form for him to validate Correction of the PS, Approved with saved modifications Step 3 Web page creation of the accepted proposal and submission of e-mail to the 32 Ideal-ist representatives. The Ideal-ist network works closely with its 32 partners Finding the right international partner, via the Ideal-ist representative is common practice; All Ideal-ist members have a national database where organisations are divided into different types of Research Priority areas so companies are well-known Excellent dissemination visibility for proposers The Partner Searches reach a targeted audience Confidence for proposers in each, individual search

Monday 2 June 2003, Athens, Greece 10www.ideal-ist.net Over 117 Partner Searches were published during first call 17 December 2002 More than 4,400 responses Average of 38 responses per partner search, 58 in the case of IPs Around 93% proposers found appropriate partners to form consortia Around 41% of proposals originated from newcomers to the IST programme The service is: FAST EFFECTIVE with IMMEDIATE RESULTS Conclusions
