Problems to be solved Safety issues Changes in illumination Eyes used for several tasks simultaneously (observation of the scene, following the track and production of control signals), … need to design & develop complementary means of control (e.g. while eyes select from a “predefined set of typical tracks”, AI tech. adjust the choice to the current situation to ensure obstacle avoidance, …)
