Climate – the condition of the atmosphere at a particular location over a long period of time (from one month to many millions of years, but generally 30 years). Climate change - any significant change in measures of climate (temperature, precipitation, or wind) lasting for an extended period (decades or longer). Global warming – average increase in temperature of atmosphere near the Earth’s surface and in troposphere, which can contribute to changes in global climate patterns.
