11 Cambridgeshire Police Authority Slide 11 Responding to your calls We deal with 4,000 incidents per week We receive 2,600 999 calls per week We receive 5,000 0345 calls per week Last year:- We answered over 90% of 999 calls within 10 seconds We answered 92% of 0345 (previously 0845) calls within 30 seconds

15 Cambridgeshire Police Authority Slide 15 Budget The Government will increase our grant by 3% in 2010/11 We have no prospect of more money from them The rest of our money comes from you – in council tax The Government expects council tax increases next year to be less than the 3% average this year.

It will ensure sufficient funding is available to maintain the current number of police officers and PCSOs £500m national policing cost savings More Value for Money (VFM) locally A look ahead – 2011/12 onwards

19 Cambridgeshire Police Authority Slide 19 What more can we do? We have things we must do next year We can’t do everything! We are efficient but can get better – that’s about how we use our limited numbers of officers
