It worked because great support (especially from Jim) ideas from each other fun activities
7
“some of the ideas were from Amie or Jim but the best were from me, of course!!!”
8
I have achieved EVERYTHING!!! Well almost!!!!

I followed the Hawick cornet and became a Mosstrooper. Look at my Photo – was in the Papers! I did my sponsored swim ( with Jim !) in July raising money for Holidays with Help… I raised £80!!! Im also doing a sponsored ride tomorrow to raise money for the RDA. I have started to plan my Jumbulance holiday with the Border Holiday Group to Austria next year. I have gained new friendships, and as for finding a girl friend... Watch this space!
10
This is me after riding back into the town behind the cornet after mosspaul rideout. My horse was called Jigsaw and we got plenty of cheers as we rode into the town! Hope you all come out to watch me next year!!!

I have noticed a HUGE change in Chris’ confidence! Chris is now able to speak up for himself especially around his support But mostly… Chris’ “BIG plan” has turned into a “MASSIVE plan” Chris now has more idea about how to plan activities and who to speak to if he’s needing support. This means he’s able to achieve more of his wants and wishes. From a support workers point of view…
12
Me got a new “friend” – even if it is a Rangers fan! Me got a sense of satisfaction in being there when Chris did his sponsored swim… Me was VERY nervous at first but Chris put me at ease….. Not easy! Me thoroughly enjoyed being there when ALL the plans being drawn up and seeing the happiness on people’s faces – Thank you all. W hat did my “Helper” – Jim Dee get out of the Big Plan?
13
“It’s been the experience of my life, its well worth coming to”
14
“It has changed my life and it might help other people too”
15
Altogether now….
