8. Project is to replace old analog telemetry with digital velocity and acceleration recorders and digital telemetry. Addition of accelerometers provides on-scale recordings of large earthquakes. Increased dynamic range from digital telemetry improves small earthquake recordings, as well. Remote access to station data for status and parameters saves time and money on maintenance. Recorders at stations provide backup if telemetry goes down. CCSN Digital Upgrade 2006-2011
