Amendment 5 Requires grand jury accusation for a federal crime Forbids the government from forcing someone to give testimony evidence that would implicate himself/herself Prevents double jeopardy Prohibits unfair actions by the federal government

Amendment 6 Guarantees an accused person a swift and fair trial

Amendment 7 Guarantees the right to a jury trial in civil cases tried in federal court

Amendment 8 Protects people from cruel and unusual punishment and excessive bail

Amendment 9 Establishes that people have rights beyond those said in Constitution

Amendment 10 Establishes that all powers not given to federal government or held from state government are given to each state/citizen In Winona Lake, Wisconsin, it is illegal to eat ice cream at a counter on Sunday. And don't expect to order a slice of cherry pie a la mode in Kansas on the Lord's Day. No restaurant is allowed to serve it unless they're willing to run afoul of local police. Marbles, Dominoes, and yo-yos are also banned on Sundays in a handful of states.
