2.  Marlo Thomas is more than just an actor she has written books about “prompting health attitudes toward identity in young children” the books cover subjects such as divorce, sibling rivalry, friendship, and stereotypes.  She also had a TV program called The Human Body: Facts for Girls and won an Emmy Award for it in 1981.  She has done many more TV programs and books that are all to help kids deal with life and family issues.

3.  Marlo is important to society because she is hard working and a good role model for many people.  She helps out the community by publishing books about how children can deal with issues in their life.  This makes her very influential on people today to make good choices

It’s almost irresistible. You have to stop doing what you’re doing and help.”
