Series: Family Feud @ New Beginnings Church Part 3: The Plan – Adoption and Forgiveness, So the “Feud” Can End
3
The Plan – Adoption and Forgiveness, So the “Feud” Can End God loved the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s both! John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
4
Was the feud worth it? Did you know that one of the patriarchs Randolph (Randall, Ole Ran'l) McCoy or William Anderson (Devil Anse) Hatfield was born-again and baptized in 1911?
5
Is the feud worth it? I know we have heard about PRIDE, and JEALOUSY. I want to talk about ending the “Feud” that exists in our lives.

Ephesians 2:1-22 KJV 1 And you hath he quickened [made alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Access to His grace – unmerited favor or love Through faith Not our works

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Actions abound in good works Pattern of Christ that we follow The plan of God for our lives

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
26
Lest we forget – 11 Unworthy in ourselves Unacceptable – as the Uncircumcision Unprepared – without Christ Unhoped-for - without God’s answer for our lives

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
31
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

48
Romans 8:15 KJV 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Psalms 34:19 NKJV 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. We have a Father that helps us! We can cry Abba (Daddy)!
49
Romans 8:17 KJV 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. We are joint-heirs with Christ
50
Ephesians 1:5 KJV 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Galatians 3:26 KJV 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. God wants us to be His “sons” or children
51
Luke 15:10 NKJV 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” 1 John 3:1 NKJV 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Our ADOPTION (SALVATION) is a great thing!
