3 6 Patients with Splenial Lesion No.NameID Scan Date1 Scan Date2Clinical Read, Jiraporn 2Mr.A-B38135/4721-Sep-0418-Oct-04 Hypersignal change in T2/FLAIR at splenium of corpus callosum with positive signal in DWI 3Mr.S-M382713228-Oct-0403-Nov-04 Hypersignal change in T2/FLAIR and positive signal in DWI at the splenium of corpus callosum. unchange of ill-defined hypersignal T2 change lesion at pons and at the left frontal centrum semiovale. Diffuse mild-moderate degree of signal change along deep white matter, bilateral hippocampi, periventricular white matter, corona radiata, and centrum semiovale, improved on the follow up study, with residual signal change on the third study. Diffuse leptomeningeal enhancement, with gradual improved on the follow up study. Unremarkable MRA brain in all studied. 6Mr.K-R383644830-Nov-0416-Dec-04 Suggestive of non-specific white matter change at periventricular white matter, corona radiata, and centrum semiovale, which appear unchange on the follow up study. Diffuse intravascular and dural enhancement, with some improvement on the follow up study. Unremarkable MRA study. Hypersignal change in FLAIR and positive signal in DWI at the splenium. 8Mr.W-Z385957225-Feb-0523-Mar-05 Mild ill-defined hypersignal T2/FLAIR and positive signal in DWI lesion at the mid part of the splenium of the corpus callosum. Suggestive of non-specific white matter change at bilateral parietal lobes and bilateral parietal centrum semiovale. 14Mr.D--388365217-May-0509-Jun-05 Clearly seen hypersignal change in PD and FLAIR of the lesion at splenium, with marked DWI signal change. The pons is normal. There is dilated perivascular space at the centrum semiovale, more on the right. The MRA study reveals minimal irregularity of the MCA, without stenosis. 15Mr.L--388634802-Jun-0524-Jun-05 Hypersignal T2 change at the splenium of corpus callosum, but rather ill- defined in FLAIR, but more obvious in DWI. The MRA is unremarkable.
