2.  Make a communication plan with your family so everyone knows who to call or text.

3.  Listen or watch the news

4.  Have emergency kit put together including flashlight, first aid kit, food and water.

5.  Look for danger signs like  dark, greenish sky  large hail  large, dark, low-lying cloud  loud roar, like a freight train

6.  Go to the basement, cellar, or room in the middle of your house.  Stay away from windows and doors.  Protect your head with your arms or a blanket. Get to the Basement

7.  Stay or get into a car or truck. Make sure you buckle your seat belt.  If no car or truck is not available then find a ditch to lay flat in or under a highway overpass.

8.  Make sure you have on shoes or boots.  Do not touch and power lines that are down.  Text family and friends to let them know you are OK.
