What’s New in Testing First semester: Only Math I will be tested (Multiple Choice and Gridded Response) Second Semester: All high school math courses except Transition to Math I and Calculus AB will have common exams (Geometry, Algebra II, Math II, AFM, Discrete Math, Precalculus). Tests will be multiple choice and open response. Second Semester: Math I EOC

Looking ahead Review pacing guide. Check out the 70% rule of thumb. Seventy percent of the time needs to be spent on the “Major Work of the Grade”. Pinpoint topics, skills and lessons to be taught in the next month Discuss and list ways to move from good to great Common Core/Essential Standards lessons.
