Mr. Cox linked the Choice Committee Work with the Master Plan and Bond Referendum Dr. Kokolis gave us a brief history of Choice and Magnet School in Rock Hill Schools We defined terms We looked at three options, staying the course, implementing magnets and schools of choice, or rezoning.

7. Over-enrolled Schools Adding a 5 th class Not enough places to put the children during specials for PLC time Getting itinerant support for Physical Education Must accept the support when time is available. Odd numbers makes pairing and partnering difficult Staffing is easier

8. Under-enrolled Schools Smaller schools may have to loose specialist’s services to the larger schools? Makes scheduling the PLC time a challenge Schools with an odd number of teachers makes it difficult to plan and share Staffing is very difficult
