Build a track for the ‘train’ to go back and forth across. It should switch directions after a set amount of time.

Then add switches so that when the train hits them it triggers the direction change.

Build a table that turns 180º, hits a switch, changes directions, hits the switch again, and continues to change directions.

Build a conveyor belt. An object moves one way until it hits a light sensor, which switches the direction of the belt.

Make a machine spins the table 180 degrees, than moves the drill up and down, continuously.

Make a block sorter that sorts out 3 different sizes of blocks. Use motors, conveyor belts, lights, light sensors, switches. The blocks must be sorted into bins.

Make a temperature controlled fan that has a lamp that heats until a specified temperature, then when it hits that temperature, the lamp turns off and the fan turns on to cool it until a specified temperature and then the fan turns off and the lamp turns on again and the whole cycle starts over… continuously!!!

Make an elevator that goes up and down at the push of a button. If you push the switch for floor one, the elevator moves along the track until it hits the switch at floor one. Also, whenever the elevator arrives at a floor, a light turns on and it beeps. The elevator must stop at the same spot whether it is going up to a floor or coming down from a floor.

Make a sun tracker that senses light from various places around the sensor. Then it turns so that the sensor received as much light as possible.
