Space collage 1. 1.Look at the backgrounds provided for you on your table. Choose the one (1) you would like to work with and return the extras to instructor. 2. 2.Using the magazines provided, begin looking for the following 16 images: Five small images less than an inch, Five medium images 2” – 3” Four large images 4” – 5” One extra large image 6” – 8” These images do not have to have a central theme but can if they would like to.

Space collage 3. 3.Cut around the contours of the image, disregarding the negative space 4. 4.Arrange the 16 images on your background so that you establish a foreground, middle ground and background. Remember the techniques commonly used: size, overlap, atmospheric perspective, linear perspective, shading. 5. 5.Once you are confident in the placement of your images, glue them into place.
