Students will build fluency with multi-digit addition and subtraction. a. Correctly add and subtract two whole numbers up to three digits each with regrouping. 4. Addition with regrouping. Addition with regrouping is when the numbers in the ones place is more than ten. Therefore you must add a ten to the tens place to represent this.
