6 BUCKINGHAM PALACE Located close to St James's Park in London. Constructed in 1703 on behalf of Sheffield, Duke of Buckingham, and purchased in 1761 by the King of England, George III. Com George D building received several changes after adding new fins to organize there the King official receptions. The expansion was undertaken by John Nash and a few years later, in 1847, a new wing on the east side of the palace of Edward Blor.Ta palaces have 600 rooms, of which 19 are function rooms, 52 royal rooms and guest rooms, 188 rooms staff and 78 bathrooms. The Queen Elizabeth II for herself has booked 12 rooms so guests have the opportunity to tour the most of the palaces. The rooms and halls are decorated with artworks of Rembrandt, Rubens, Watteau, Van Dyck, etc. Buckingham Palace opened its gates to the public in 1993.
