4 INTRODUCTION This is a history lesson that teachers your child how to think and ask the right questions by learning how to become a history detective. Your student will learn about James Madison.

6 Learning Rubric TOTAL OF 3O POINTS THE STUDENT WILL LEARN TO CONDUCT INTERNET RESEARCH TO OBTAIN FACTS 5 POINTS THE STUDENT WILL ANALYZE THE DATA RETRIEVED TO DETERMINE IF IT IS QUESTION- SPECIFIC OR NOT. 5 POINTS THE STUDENT WILL GENERATE THEORIES FROM RETRIEVED DATA 5 POINTS THE STUDENT WILL LOG ALL RELEVANT FACTS OBTAINED 5 POINTS THE STUDENT WILL GLEAN FACTS FROM OTHER SOURCES AND SYNTHESIZE THOSE FACTS TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE DATA ARE CONCLUSION-WORTHY. 5 POINTS THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP ANSWERS OR SOLUTIONS TO THE QUESTIONS THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE FACTS OBTAINED INTO AN INVESTIGATIVE REPORT. 5 POINTS TOTAL = 10TOTAL = 20TOTAL = 30
