2. Chapter 5 The One-Eyed Giant Odysseus and his comrades meet Polyphemus, Son of Poseidon –the Cyclops, they are not even afraid of the gods. The Cyclopes eat two of his comrades

3. Chapter 6 Sorceress Odysseus and his comrades get on the boat and they reached the floating island of Aeolia –The island of Aeolia is where Aeolus, the God of the Winds, lives. This time they do not have the support of the wind They sailed off, they sailed for six day, but on the seventh day they landed on a land called Laestrygonia –Laestrygonia is the island where the Laestrygonian, giant, lives. Then on the third day, they reached Aeaea –Aeaea is the home of the Goddess Circe change all of his comrades into swine but Odysseus did not became a pig. –He didn’t became a swine because Hermes gave him the magic root

4. Chapter 7 Land of the Died Odysseus went to the land of the died to find the soul of Tiresias, the blind prophet. There Tiresias tell him not to touch the cattle of the sun God He meet his mother, Alcinous, Agamemnon, who told him a lesson not to trust women, Achilles, Ajax, who was mad at him for the armor of Achilles, Minos, Tityus, Tantalus, Sisyphus, and Hercules.

5. Chapter 8 The Six Headed Monster After they went to the land of the died, they came back to circe island. They left and they meat the Sirens, which sing to let you jump in the water and kill you. Then they meat Scylla, which kill six men. Then they got to the land of the sun god, and Eurylochus and the other comrade ate the cattle of the sun god. Zeus sent a thunderstorm and Odysseus was sent back near Scylla. Then he meet Charybdis, but he grab on a tree so he was alive. Then Calypso save him and he live eight year with her.

6. Odysseus Success Fate V.S. Ability Fate: Gain help from the Gods. Calypso gave him supply for journey. Athena help him in the battle of the suitors. The Phaeacian had helped him for getting back to Ithaca. Ability:  A great leader, cunning, strong, and attractive in the story.
