Love To Hate The Profession Since one can not gain education to become a trainer, growing up around horses is the best way to gain entry into the profession. Working with horses daily and starting to gain experience is key. Don’t worry…if you want to pursue this career path after school, try to network and get into reputable stable.

Notes Out of all the professions that are involved with the race track, I chose thoroughbred trainers. I chose this profession because no college classroom education is required, although much education is gained through observations, volunteering, and apprentice type work.
