Statistical RoutinesInformation Visualization  Today’s computational possibilities  Computation of facts, summaries, models,...  A large variety of algorithms for specific tasks (clustering, dimension reduction,...)  Based on the knowledgeable theory of data exploration  Considers multivariate relationships  Results can be easily reproduced
