9. This is not meant to take anything away from school ball. It’s a compromise between DYBSA and Delano Middle School Baseball. If abused it will be taken away. Gopher State games to begin the week of May 11th 13AAA and 14AAA Allows these teams to start earlier, not having to cram 16 games and 3 tournaments into a 5 week period. Provides for more practices during the season Health Benefits Family time Allows non Gopher State school ball players to get more games in How it will work All 14U teams posted May 4 th GS Players will not play school ball games after May 8th (TBD) School ball teams will be reconfigured for game purposes only. GS players will still practice with school ball.

Expectations and Rules… Gopher State players are expected to be at school ball practices Gopher State players are expected to participate in scrimmages as long as there are no conflicts with a game. Players are expected to play, act, participate, etc as though the summer ball season has yet to begin…give 100%+ Gopher State coaches cannot schedule practices during the week when school ball is in season. Weekends are fine. Failure to follow the above rules can\may result in loss of game time and\or modifying the team assignment of the player. This decision will be at the discretion of the school ball coaches and DYBSA.

May have to move up to AAA. Crow River League – not enough competition for first travel team and too much for second travel team. Resolution… For 10A and 12A Travel – move to Crow River B and GS A Gopher State to add a level between AA and AAA – we have no control over this. More Crow River Teams coming to Gopher State Start our own league???
